Hello from Maine, USA! My name is Kayla and I am 34 years old and live in Maine, USA. I'm currently going through a difficult divorce and I'm working on re-engaging in hobbies that filled me up in the past. I'm really excited to be on Swap-Bot and look forward to swapping with you!

I currently work as a correctional officer, but my education is in theology and I'm an ordained minister. My special interests are mental health, addiction recovery, end-of-life care, and faith. I'm a non-denominational, interfaith minister and I'm a practicing Episcopalian. I'm finding my work as a correctional officer to be very heavy and I'm looking to fill my personal days with peace and joyful things.

I am an avid reader, and I primarily read books related to faith and mental health. I'm currently reading A Quiet Mind to Suffer With by John Andrew Bryant.

I live with 5 cats whom I love very much. Their names are Hera, Popham, Calais, Aster, and Eris. My ex-husband kept my farm and many of our animals with him. I especially love Siamese, Himalayan, and black cats, and bully breed or rat terrier dogs. I especially miss my Nigerian Dwarf goats and my ducks, Indian Runner, Muscovy, and Call ducks.

When I'm not working, I enjoy being on the water and fishing. I like to kayak, but my partner also takes me out in his boats. I enjoy being out in nature in general, but especially love being near the water.
