Letâs bring back the good old-fashioned art of writing a letter! For this swap, youâll be paired with someone youâve never met and write them a real, thoughtful letter. Tell them a little about yourself, whatâs been going on in your life lately, things youâre interested in, something youâre looking forward to, or really anything youâd tell a new friend. This is a chance to slow down, put pen to paper, and connect with someone youâve never met. A few ideas if you arenât sure what to write about: * đ What are you currently reading, watching, or listening to? * đą Is there something youâre learning or trying to get better at? * âď¸ What does your ideal day look like? * âď¸ Is there somewhere youâd love to travel? * đ¨ What are your hobbies or current obsessions? * đ Whatâs something youâve been thinking about lately? * ⨠Whatâs something youâre looking forward to? * đ Or just tell your partner about your life right now! You can make your letter as simple or creative as youâd like. Feel free to decorate your envelope, add a postcard or a few stickers, use fun stationery, etc., but extras are absolutely not required. The letter is the main event! Iâm hoping this can be a little opportunity to make a connection with someone weâd probably never otherwise cross paths with. Because honestly, itâs hard to make friends as an adult! NOTE: I have chosen to allow unrated swappers in this series. HOWEVER, you must have a well filled out profile to participate. This is kind of an intimate swap and I would hate for someone to get ghosted. Banning is at my discretion, but I want to be fair to everyone and protect the swap and the people in it. đ Happy writing! đ | |
