2/12: All caught up on swaps after being so sick since 12/19/25.

I have been to urgent care for the 2nd time this month!! I have another sinus infection and pinkeye in both eyes. This cold winter can end and bring on Spring

Okay, listen up 2026…you’ve got to be a lot nicer than 2025. LOL. I have been sick since I woke up on 12/19/2025. I went to urgent care 1/4/2026, now I have a sinus infection and bronchitis. As if, having the flu wasn’t bad enough. While I was at urgent care, I heard them say they didn’t have a test yet for what they’re calling the “super flu”. Yikes!! Stay healthy, all my swapping friends.

While I was on vacation, hubby fell 11/22 on his left hip, breaking it in 2 places, 3 days before I returned on 11/25. I’m back to being a full-time caregiver, working and taking care of the house. Gotta love life…LOL.

5/31/2025: poor hubby fell off a ladder & shattered his right leg :(

2025: Update on my absence: My hobby supplies are finally unpacked & hobby area is all set up & I'm ready to swap again. I've been doing swaps on Facebook, too. We moved to Alabama from Idaho, I had back surgery, hubby had a motorcycle accident, then a year ago tripped & fell into a hot turkey fryer & had 3rd degree burns on his right leg & I've had several more back injections for a different area. Time to have FUN!!

I was born in CA, grew up in OR. Lived in MS 14 years, ID for 11 years, now we’re in AL.

Hubby and I have 3 dogs & 2 fish.

I’ve been listening to a lot of Christian music, lately. I really enjoy Crowder, TobyMac, Brandon Lake, Zack Williams, Third Day, Jars of Clay, Ann Wilson, DC Talk.

I love older (classic) rock & roll from the 70's & 80's.

Some of my favorites are: AC/DC, Tom Petty, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Bad Company, Billy Idol, Depeche Mode, Fleetwood Mac, Kid Rock, Jimmy Buffett, The Steve Miller Band, Paul Simon, CCR, Eddie Money, Cher, Michael Jackson, Warren Zevon, Boston…. I don't care for country & western.

I don't read very often, but when I do I like a good mystery. I enjoy Mary Higgins Clark, James Patterson, Stephen King.

I guess since I've discovered Smash Books, that's my favorite book now. Teehee. I'm always watching for things to smash.

Now, I love making Junk Journals. They are SO much fun and they have endless possibilities.

I don't have cable (by choice). I love law enforcement, court room/law, mystery series. Bruce Willis is my all time favorite actor.

2025: I’ve discovered napkin art and I LOVE it. I’m so amazed at all the different available napkins. They’re so awesome.

I love all sorts of paper crafts, altered playing cards, I do a little bit of beading too. My current favorite colors to craft with are: Purples, pinks & lime greens. I love turquoise too, it's a very pretty color to work with. I love red and black together. I really like pink & brown together. My least favorite colors are yellow & orange, but they have their purpose and get used when needed. Teehee. Orange and turquoise together are pretty cool.

POSTCARDS: I like them naked, stamped and with a little note. If the swap calls for them to be in an envie, that's great too. I like all sorts of postcards.

If you do not receive something from me, PLEASE message me, and I will rectify that. I want my partners to have a good swapping experience as well.

I mark sent when I put the swap in my mailbox. Our PO is small (they close early on Wednesdays). They only clear out the inside drop box once a day at 2:30pm. My mail pickup is late in the afternoon. If I mark sent on a Sunday, that means I have dropped it by the PO on my way to church.

Don’t have many, just don’t care for witchcraft related stuff, tarot cards, etc. Thanks.
