Wine Label Postcards

Face it... many of us who drink wine really don't have the wherewithal for picking just the right vintage of wine, so we buy for the cool label. Why not share those labels!

Peel the label off a bottle of wine (I usually bake the empty bottles for 10 minutes or so and then very carefully remove the labels using silicone mitt to steady bottle and just the tip of my nail to start the peeling), apply to a postcard side card that you have prepared in any artistic way you want (just a label on cardstock can be nice, but it is more interesting to add a bit of embellishment), write a message, add postage and off it goes.

It is more fun to get postcards that have seen more than the inside of an envelope, so make sure your creation is sturdy enough to be mailed as a postcard.

Start emptying those bottles!
