Description:

I love inkbox cards. I think we ALL love inkbox cards! Let's make one that looks a bit like a slide frame (is that what they're called?). You can cover the specimen with something like what's shown on the graphic...maybe drywall tape that's stained with an ink pad, or a piece of clear acetate, or even nothing at all! I fell in love with (am I loving too much?!) the inkbox card I found on Pinterest and chose for our swap graphic. I really like the frame, and definitely want to make it a requirement...I've never seen a slide without a frame of sorts. The "specimen" is up to you: butterfly, bug, flower...whatever you want. Don't forget that an inkbox card is a 3-inch square with rounded corners, kind of a perfect size imho. I hope to see lots of my swappy friends in this one!

Hi! I just measured my specimen slide die and found it's a bit short of 3 inches (the size of the inkbox card) so wondering if we need to fill up the sides to get to the correct size or is this smaller size acceptable or it can be size of any specimen slide in an inkbox card?

Thank you.
