12 Months of Christmas Block Swap #1 Int

I'm loving all the Christmas projects around and have decided to jump in boots and all, hoping to have a Christmas quilt finished for Christmas 2010 (I take a long time to baste/quilt the project, so sue me). Let's think outside the box and go with a finished 12.5" square block, but it can consist of 4 x 6.5" sqs, 16 x 4.5" sqs or even strips say, 2 x 6.5" x 12.5", any size that equals a 12.5" finished square. This way the recipient can move things around for a bigggg quilt or a few smaller wall hangings, table runners. The swap will run for 12 mths so if you're in for the long haul you'll end up with 12 x 12.5" sq blocks, that's at least 3' x 4' without sashing/borders:) You will have 4 weeks to make each "block" and 'cos we're starting now the last block will arrive after Dec 15 next year, hence me hoping to finish it by Christmas 2010!
