Hey! Remember that NaNo Novel?

You know you have one -- that NaNo novel that you finished but never edited, or the one that didn't get done by Nov. 30, or the one you loved but set aside for some breathing room. Or maybe even the one that's all ready to submit to an editor or publisher or to self-publish but you've not taken the next step on the path.

Well, it's May. NaNoWriMo and a new writing challenge is six months away. That old NaNo novel still needs some love and attention. Remember it? You used to be so psyched about it.

Pick a NaNo year, any year that you participated. Resolve over the next two months to do something with that manuscript.

Post below your June 1-July 31 plan for that novel. Your plan needs to be posted before partners are assigned.

After partners are assigned, in a note/letter sent no earlier than July 15, you'll tell them:

a) what you accomplished in the two months

b) what your future plans are regarding the manuscript

c) A brief summary -- no more than 100 words -- identifying the genre, the NaNo year you started it, and what the novel is about. Think loglines here.
