April Photo-A-Day

After much success with Photo-A-Day I thought to celebrate April we would have a month long Photo-A-Day Swap.

This is a commitment to take 30 unique photos in the month of April from the prompts below – one for each day of the month. The goal is to be creative, think outside of the box and share your photos (and your life!) through a month worth of photos.

Listed below is a list of 40 prompts, each photographer can interpret the themes as they see fit, and can choose the theme that fits them best. However, each them can only be used once.

Your goal for this swap is to take one photo, one for each day of the month using one of the themes below. At the end of the swap, send them all seven photos to your partners identifying the theme that you chose for that day. (For example April 1st – theme: animal, picture: my dog, April 2nd – theme: colour, picture: local café)

At the end of the swap (By May 2nd), you will email the photos to your five partners – you may wish to use an online photo hosting site such as Photobucket or Flickr. Alternatively, maybe put together a slide show or weekly collages.

Swap Review

• Every day, in the month of April select a theme and take a photo
• There are 40 themes, choose to use 30 of them
• Send all 30 photos via email to your 4 partners, identify the themes used for the days (link to a photo album is acceptable as well)
• Send by date is now May 2nd - to allow time to organize photos.
• Please keep all photos appropriate (with a “G Rating”)
• Look forward to sharing, and getting pictures from around the world
• Swap is digital – email
• Swap is international
• Rating of 4.9 or higher, newbies welcome with filled out profile, must be active on swap-bot
