Description:

Hey everyone. This swap is for everyone who loves to make junk journals and could use more variety in the materials they have.

For this swap you will send a Junk Journal DIY Kit put together by yourself.

The kit must include:

  • A tutorial. You may write one out or pick one from the many tutorials there are online. You may also cut it out of a magazine or a book. Anything goes, really, as long as your swap partner can read and understand it.

  • Materials to craft the cover with.

  • Materials for at least 30 pages. Depending on your tutorial, this doesn't necessarily mean 30 separate pages. If your tutorial includes folding pages to use them front and back, then by all means include 15 separate pages. The sizes of the pages completely depend on your tutorial. While some people like their pages to be the same size, others (like me) like to have different sized pages. The pages can be truly anything varying from magazine pages to lined notebook pages. Just make it a varied mix. No more than 5 pages of the same kind.

  • Materials for pockets/decorations/embellishments. Varying from beads to paper scraps to paperclips. At least 5 different ones, so don't send 5 metal paperclips and call it an embellishment.

  • Something to bind the journal with. This can be string, twine, metal rings, even staples if that's what the tutorial says.

  • Anything else your tutorial requires. For example I once saw a tutorial for chunky books that required toilet rolls.

Not included in this kit are materials like glue, needles, scissors, etc. But if you feel like including them by all means do.

Rating requirement is 4.85 and up. I don't want any flakers so I will check ratings and ban any questionable swappers, regardless of whether or not their rating meets the requirement. No unrated swappers. New swappers welcome on the condition they have some evident experience with paper crafts.

Any questions? Post them in the comments section or PM me if it's urgent.
