Altered Shoe Swap

This has been on my swap wish list for awhile, so here goes....

Alter one shoe in any theme to create a work of art for display. You can use any type of shoe except flip-flops or white tennis shoes. Thrift stores are a good place to find a pair of shoes for altering...funky platforms, high-heels, kids' shoes, etc....just make sure they are clean with no dirty smell.

FUN STUFF: Alter one shoe in any theme, sender's choice. The send deadline is pretty far off, so you can start crafting now.

NOT SO FUN STUFF: Send something you would love to receive. Using fabric puffy paint or gluing some stickers is NOT altering. If you're stuck for an idea, just google images of altered art shoes to get some great ideas:) Send timely and rate fairly.
